Art Through the Ages Presented by Actor Docents

at Monte Vista Elementary

This was a collaborative and interdisciplinary project across the whole school.

Throughout the year, rooms worked on specific art period pieces. Each project was picked to make meaningful interdisciplinary connections. 

​

Mid year, we selected a group of docents who worked on sets and on learning and delivering their parts.

​

Performance day was full of excitement, fantastic costumes (yes, I made almost ALL of them!) and even more spectacular performances!

Each group of docents worked very hard and each student lent the team their strengths. We could identify strengths in communication, leadership, motivation, learning, inclusiveness, input, responsibility, strategy, activation, and more!
